Terms & conditions

These terms provide a general framework for use of the Meercat SMS website and services. Specific customers may also be subject to separate commercial agreements, service descriptions, pricing schedules or support arrangements.

Use of services

Customers are responsible for ensuring that messages sent using Meercat services are lawful, accurate, authorised and compliant with applicable data protection, electronic communications, telecoms and marketing rules.

Acceptable use

The service must not be used to send unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, harmful or unsolicited messages. Meercat may suspend or restrict access where misuse, security risk or non-compliance is suspected.

Service availability

Meercat aims to provide reliable UK based messaging services, but delivery may depend on third-party networks, mobile operators, recipient devices and other external systems outside Meercat's direct control.

Billing

Unless otherwise agreed, usage may be billed monthly in arrears according to the applicable customer agreement, tariff or service schedule.
