The Meercat web portal has been developed solely for you as a telecoms reseller or large establishment to provide SMS texting capabilities to your clients. The product scales from a single user, right through to the largest of user bases containing thousands of users.

Its sophisticated administration facilities allow you to configure and control an unlimited number of your clients and their users. The multi tier interface allows you to hand off administration of the client functions to local administrators. Of course it can all be branded with your own colours and logo without any loss of identity.

• Create client administrator accounts to allow your clients to create unlimited system users, import and create a global address book, create global templates, and create global groups of contacts.

• Create their own personal address book.
• Create personal templates and groups.

Email Bulk Messaging

For bulk message services Meercat support several attachment formats enabling you to send text messages to thousands of recipients with a single email. If we don't support the format you require then we will develop one free of charge to enable the service for you.

Inbound Short Codes

We provide low cost short code/inbound keyword services that can also be configured and controlled via the web portal. Messages sent into the short code and keyword(s) of your choice are charged to the sender at their networks standard rate.

The web portal also allows you to choose whether to auto-respond to the inbound messages and configure what text to auto-respond with.

You have two Short Code options

• You can use one of our Shared Short Codes, which sees us supplying you with your chosen unique Key Word, subject to availability. These are perfect for short-term use subject to a minimum contract.
• Alternatively we can supply you with your own Dedicated Short Codes subject to a minimum contract. You're then free to set up as many of your own keywords as required.

With either of these options we can provide you with an unlimited number of double barrelled keywords based on the single keyword of your choice. Example: Text Meercat Sales to shortcode 81025.

As a reseller your first inbound shortcode/keyword is provided with a branded portal free of charge.

Application Integration

We provide a number of ways to integrate SMS services in client systems.

The Meercat messaging send and receive engine that is the heart of our web portal is fully documented and available for use. We provide simple email to SMS services - if a system can generate an email we can relay this as a text message. We also provide a simple http(s) post format that sends single or bulk messages from a web server connected to the internet.

Our standard integration methods satisfy a large portion of our clients. However we know we cannot hope to meet every individual requirement or integrate with every package on the market.

In situations where a client has requirements that are not met by our standard offerings we can:

• Provide direct technical assistance to create a new service.
• Provide technical assistance to integrate our SMS services with the clients own software.
• Work with the clients own staff to provide such integration.
