After more than 16 years supplying both schools and higher education establishments Meercat has a large amount of experience and a number of products that aid integration with both standard packages and bespoke solutions.

What's Possible?

• Eurolens at Manchester University. Timed messages, at regular intervals, are sent to clients as part of clinical trials. Clients respond to the messages which are collated by us and formatted in a bespoke report for analysis.
• Huddersfield University. Automated global address book updates. On a nightly basis we process the CSV data sent to update the entire global contacts database. Once processed an automated exception report is produced and mailed to inform of the nightly batch runs success.
• Voting registration via SMS. Working with a local government backed agency we provide the mechanism for a registrant to be able to text in a unique registration code to a virtual mobile number, we process the inbound message and reply with a success or failure message.
• System email relay. Many of our customers simply generate an email from their systems. We receive these, in many different formats, for onward relay to an SMS message.

Integration

Meercat software has all of the necessary interfaces to allow establishments to integrate with their own databases.

• Saints - Integrate with Saints student administration.
• SIMS - Most schools use SIMS. Reports produced from SIMS can be used to send out messages to selected groups of pupils.
• ICE - In Case of Emergency. Meercat provides integration with admin systems so that emergency notices can be delivered to large numbers of students and staff rapidly.
• Moodle - Meercat is working with various establishments to be able to provide Moodle capability.
